What we collect
Only what you type into the contact form: name, company or club, email address, phone number if you give one, the discipline concerned and your description of the project.
Audience measurement as well: the number of pages viewed, the language served, the type of device, where the visit came from, and a few anonymous gestures such as how far down a page you read. It is described in full below and you can refuse it with one click.
No advertising tracker, no profiling, no sale to third parties, no third-party tool: nothing leaves our servers.
Why
To answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to draw up a proposal. That is the only purpose.
The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form, together with the company's legitimate interest in answering a business enquiry.
For how long
Enquiries that go no further are kept for three years from the last exchange, then deleted.
Enquiries that lead to a contract follow the statutory retention periods for commercial records.
Who has access
One exception, on the contact page: the map is served by OpenStreetMap. Displaying it sends your IP address to that service, which sets no cookie and builds no profile. The directions button is a plain link: nothing is loaded unless you click it.
Only the people in the company who handle incoming enquiries.
Technically, messages pass through our host's servers, located in the European Union. No data is transferred outside the Union.
Audience measurement
We count visits to find out which pages are read, in which language, from which kind of device and by what route people arrived. We also record a few gestures: how far down a page you read, the opening of a question in the FAQ, a click towards the contact form. That is all, and it serves one purpose only: making the site clearer.
Your IP address is never stored. It is read for as long as it takes to serve the page, then forgotten. You are counted under a randomly drawn identifier turned into an irreversible fingerprint: it says neither who you are nor where you come from, and it cannot be matched with any other site.
Nothing is passed to a third party: no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no outside service. The measurements stay on the site's own server, in France, and are erased after twenty-five months.
This measurement is exempt from consent because it meets the conditions the French data protection authority sets for audience measurement: limited purpose, no cross-referencing, no sharing, bounded retention. You can refuse it below all the same, and the refusal takes effect at once.
If your browser sends the "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal, we do not measure you at all, with nothing for you to do here.
You are currently counted in the audience measurement.
The refusal is held in a cookie belonging to this browser: you need to renew it on every device you use.
Cookies
This site sets at most three cookies, all of them its own, none from a third party.
"is_langue" remembers the language you chose, so that you are not asked again on every visit. It lasts one year. Being strictly necessary for the service you asked for, it is exempt from consent.
"is_v" and "is_s" serve the audience measurement described above: the first tells a new visit from a return and lasts thirteen months, the second groups the pages of one visit and disappears when the browser closes. Neither holds any information about you: a randomly drawn number, and nothing else. They are not set if you have excluded yourself from the measurement.
You can delete them at any time from your browser settings; the site will keep working and will fall back to your browser language.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port the data concerning you, and to withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise those rights, write to the address given in the legal notice, stating what you are asking for. We answer within one month.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the French data protection authority - CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, cnil.fr.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS: what you type travels encrypted. Messages received are kept on password-protected accounts.
