A manufacturing drawing is not a wish. It is a list of parts, materials, joints and tolerances. We move from one to the other in the workshop, to the exact dimensions surveyed on site - not to standard sizes that would later mean grinding a post or drilling a load-bearing wall.
Bespoke manufacturing covers the structural work and the finishing alike: padel structures, sports hall structures, MMA cages, free-standing boxing rings, wall padding, supports, cladding and storage. Every part is marked, checked and packed for transport, with the fixings and the assembly instructions that go with it.
What is built can be taken apart. We favour joints that can be undone, so a room can change, move or take on a different use without starting from nothing. Wearing parts are chosen from ranges that will still exist in five years, rather than ones that vanish with the production run.
Well-made equipment goes unnoticed: it holds, it does not shift, and you forget about it. That is the only compliment it can be paid.
